I drew this last year, but only coloured it now. It was gonna be hand painted on a cel but... let's just say..... CEL PAINTING SUCKED. So I finally coloured it on computer. It took a while... I dunno if it shows... cos alot of other people's is better. Oh well. I made a few mistakes. His happy half is supposed to be red, and the sad half blue. However, I tried to sorta fix this by putting that glow behind the masks that's the tight colour. Which actually gives it a weird contrasty element when comparing the masks to the body. Or somehting. Also I probably shoulda gotten rid of those spots, like the big huge one on the red thing on the right. Maybe later.
The character: Well, I don't have an OFFICAL name yet, came up with him in highschool a few years ago. He was way simpler looking then hehe... well, anyway, he's sort of got two halves, his masks fly around with blue/red trails behind them like commets, but when he merges as one he looks like this. He's sort of like a god, cept not, came up with a few others to go with the same 'story'. He doesn't have much in the way of powers.... he's more of an omnipresent observer. Not too sure what exactly he does yet. Maybe I'll develop him further for somehting else.
That's cool Dane, it's got nicer shading than your last one. I just don't like how you shade with black, but do you do it so it looks creepy? Cause that works. It's cool though, I like the ribbon part best.
Cell painting is dumb! At least it is when they don't give you the right paint.
Thanks. I didn't shade this one with black, but I ended up just making most of it a darker shade anyway so I might as well of. Cept the gold/yellow bits.
You know i think you should tell people you have new pictures cause then ill have some hope of catching up. Anyway the picture is awesome you should do more drawings of it
