OOOH MYYY GOOOD my computer caught on fire.

Thankfully I had just finished backing everything up. I was gonna reformat it, but then my brother was looking at the RAM, wondering why I had 448mb of RAM I always thought didn't make sense. Then he put it back in, and the monitor wouldn't work. Then he started shouting "DANE IT'S ON FIRE! YOU'RE COMPUTER IS ON FIRE!" I didn't believe him but sure enough there was a tiny little flame in there. I blew on it and then he turned it off and it went away.

It was very dramatic. And smelly. One of the most exciting things to happen to me in a while. Of course I wouldn't have been excited if I didn't have everything backed up, I'd just be depressed. Funny that.

Fortunately I still have our Rhubarb Zoo computer all to myself while Jeremy is in London. Hopefully it won't catch on fire either.

In other news, these things are awesome:

*Avatar: the Last Airbender. I say this a lot, but I think this is by far one of my favourite shows of all time now. Like, probably second to Evangelion. I dunno, I'll have to watch Kaiba again. But in any case, it's faaaaaantastic. I love it so much. Iroh is my favourite character, he's so awesome.

*Wii. I got one a few weeks ago. Mario Galaxy is great. Mariokart is hard.

*12 Angry Men. This is probably one of my favourite movies now. So simple yet so clever! On the complete opposite side of the movie spectrum, but still freakin' awesome was District 9. Good movies get me so excited!!!

You know what's great?

Music is great. I heard Autechre's "Drane" for the first time a coupla days ago, and it was like a moment... where I realised why I listen to music. It felt like I had heard music for the first time, and all the wonderful things at can do for a person.

I'm sure most people reading this (except maybe Jeremy) would think it's a horrible, slow paced collection of scrapes and squelches but I think it's the most beautiful thing I've heard in a long long time.

But if electronic music isn't your thing... why not try a healthy dose of classical piano? I've also really been into Erik Satie. I think most people would have heard Gymnopédies no.1 at some point, but there are 2 more, lesser known parts to the song, both of which are equally beautiful and awestastic. Je te veux is also awesome.

In case you couldn't tell yet, the only point to this journal update is to get rid of the previous one, and I really don't have anything all that worth while to say right now. Been working lots. Sometimes while listening to music. The end.

ARGH I just typed out a big long journal and then accidently lost it all grrrr. Oh well, 90% of it was me ranting about films I've seen recently. Which I think 90% of people out there wouldn't care too much to read anyway.

Anyway... I haven't updated in ages so I thought I'd just say... things.

First of all, I've been getting lots of views and favourites for my Arrested Development fan art (40 fav's and nearly 600 views, which is a lot for me!) so thanks to everyone who's commented, added it to their favourites, or even just looked at it.

Secondly, Entropy got accepted into another film festival! Most people reading this probably know that, but to those who don't, it's called KROK, it's in Russia and it's held on a cruise ship! So YAY! That's cool

I know I haven't uploaded any kind of art... but that's cos I haven't done anything :/ I will try harder... I promise.
